ABOUT ME

For as long as I could remember, I had always put pencil to paper or any surface I could find. I drew on walls, wood, furniture, the floor, etc. Basically if I could draw on it, I would. My father had a love/hate relationship with my artistic tendencies. He bought me sketchbooks and tools so I could work in a more controlled space. One day he asked me to take a photo for him, and my whole perspective on art changed. Now, he simply wanted a photo for himself but began to realize that, for my age, I had an eye for a good photo. From that moment on, I handed in my sketchbook and pencil for a lens and a camera.

Photography has stimulated my mind's perspective on art and the world. I pay more attention to the beautiful details in something that most find simple. In my photography, I hope to show the emotion of things that I go through. Whenever my mind is filled with ideas I am able to turn whats in my head into a photograph by letting my ideas flow out into my pictures. Whether it is a pose that I can direct or a scenery that I can capture, photography has inspired me to always create something more.
